Whether it's a side dish or a main course, this oven-baked corn pot is a family favourite! This dish is that my mother didn't often do that I can remind her a few times to make her, but when she did, I went crazy about her.
Her recipe was pretty basic and he didn't need heavy cream - she used condensed milk and onions. Now I've learned to appreciate them and even love them in some dishes, but not in this. No, not in there. Well, because of its not doing that often I honestly forgot about it.
It was only about a month ago that I saw on Pinterest something similar to what Mom used to do by Chef-In-Training (I love her site btw!) Immediately, all these childhood memories came back and I had to do it. I looked through my old family recipes and found mom and went into town.
